The aim of the app is pretty simple, and that is to turn your iPhone into a remote control for your Mac or PC, complete with predefined control panels, and a simulated touchpad and keyboard to give you complete freedom when seated comfortably on a sofa afar from your computer.
Remote control apps for desktops can often offer a rather daunting user experience, and in my encounter, even the aesthetics of the remote app contribute greatly to the easiness of usage, but Remote Mouse is nothing like your average remote control app for iOS, with well laid out bold controls – and even intuitive ones for that matter. For example, users can not only control the volume of their computer via on-screen controls on the app, but by simply pressing the Volume Up and Down buttons, which can further be configured to serve as fast forward or rewind keys for media content.
