The Apple Watch Series 9 Could Be Getting A Whole New Color

Buyers of the upcoming Apple Watch Series 9 might have a whole new color to check out, according to a new report.

That new color will be available on the aluminum model, assuming the leak is correct.

That leak comes via the Twitter user ShrinkApplePro who has a relatively accurate history when sharing these kinds of details. According to them, Apple is going to add a new pink color to the list of options for aluminum Apple Watch buyers.

If correct, the aluminum Apple Watch Series 9 will be available in Midnight, Starlight, (PRODUCT)RED, Silver, and Pink.  The stainless steel model will stock to the previous color options, while 41mm and 45mm sizes are also thought to remain the same. In fact, the case won’t change at all according to the leak.

One thing that will change is a new box that will apparently be more compact than the ones used currently.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has previously said that the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 will both benefit from new S9 chips, too. That chip is expected to be faster than the previous ones, making it the first notable performance upgrade since 2020’s Apple Watch Series 6 release.

Apple is expected to announce the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 in September alongside the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro lineups.
