According to Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, Apple will launch a new 4-inch iPhone early next year featuring the A9 chip while the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 and 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus with 3GB RAM are on track for Q3 2016 release.
The latest iPhone 7 rumor has Samsung possibly getting ready to make Apple Watch-like OLED screens for Apple next smartphone, scheduled to be released in fall 2016.
It's sometimes extremely difficult to keep up with the lightning fast pace of the consumer technology market, and in particular, the ever evolving smartphone market. Apple's iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus handsets may have only been officially available to the public to purchase since Friday gone, but we're already starting to witness the surfacing of speculation pertaining to Apple's next-generation iPhone, which is expected to be named the "iPhone 7".
We're still a couple of days away from the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus announcement that we are expecting to fill at least part of the September 9th event, but that hasn't stopped some people getting ahead of themselves with predictions for what the iPhone 7 will look like when it arrives a whole 12 months from now. The latest to get their crystal ball out is KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
There hasn't been any official word yet from Apple, but all indications are suggesting that the likely unveiling of the next-generation iPhone will take place in less than a month. The two new devices, which are expected to be launched under the iPhone 6s banner, are supposedly all set for a mid-September launch, and are predicted to be a huge success for the Cupertino based company. While we wait for the actual final reveal, and to see if the device falls in line with all of the rumors that we've been hearing, designer Vuk Nemanja Zoraja has released a sleek concept vision of what he believes an official Apple smartphone could look like, but perhaps by next year.
It wouldn't be a day with a 'y' in it if there wasn't a brand new iPhone concept doing the rounds, and the latest comes courtesy of designers Ivo Marić and Tomislav Rastovac who have shown us what the iPhone 7 may look like.
Here are the 7 reasons why you should wait for iPhone 6s / iPhone 7 now instead of getting a new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.
If clues found in the latest beta release of iOS are anything to go by, Apple's iPhone may be in for one of its biggest camera overhauls yet. With Apple having released the first beta of iOS 9 to developers following its Worldwide Developers Conference opening keynote, Hamza Sood set about picking it apart. After a little digging he may have found the first references yet to a vastly improved front-facing camera, possibly set to arrive as part of this year's new iPhone release.
We're getting to that time of year where graphic artists start to try and guess what the next iPhone will look like and what features it will contain, with concept art popping up all over the Internet. There are so many new concepts appearing every day that we can't possibly tell you about them all, but when one appears to mimic the design aesthetic of the Apple Watch, we thought you might like to see it.
Concept videos are now part and parcel of the technology industry, and with fans and other interested parties now more than capable of creating highly detailed concept art, some of the resulting works are absolutely stunning. Even if you don’t think they are even remotely close to a real, shipping product you have to at least take your hat off to the work.
