Today though, the aptly named 'The Information' has published a report that brings the news back to a story that simply will not die.

The MacBook range is iconic for a number of reasons, but the most differentiator between an Apple-made notebook and that of a rivaling brand is the famous, glowing logo on the rear of the case.
