Apple today announced via a new press release that it is partnering with retail mammoth Best Buy to expand the authorized service network. Now, users will be able to take their Apple hardware into a huge number of Best Buy stores across the United States to have them repaired and replaced.
It seems that Huawei is lowering itself to less than scrupulous practices in order to try and promote its new Mate 10 Pro smartphone. In a private Facebook group, which has approximately 60,000 members, Huawei has been soliciting positive Best Buy reviews in exchange for the possibility of being selected as an early hardware beta tester.
Best Buy is charging $100 extra for iPhone X and we just can't get around their reasoning and justification as to why they are doing it. Are they ripping off their customers? Probably yes.
Best Buy brings the price of Apple Watch down to the lowest prices we have seen yet, with $100 discount on all Sport and stainless steel models.
Apple isn't usually the kind of manufacturer that sees its latest and greatest wares receive discounts at retail, with even the smallest of price drop rarely associated with something branded with an Apple logo. When Best Buy reduced both the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 as part of its recent Black Friday sale, it was already going against the tide and, we suspect, Apple's wishes.
The Samsung Gear Fit fitness tracker and smartwatch is probably the least bulky smartwatch around, but it's also more of a fitness tracker than the kind of smartwatch that we're all so excited about getting. That doesn't mean that it's not awesome though, and if you've been on the fence about picking one up and happen to live in the United States, then now might be a great time to take the plunge.
History has shown us that Best Buy is never shy when it comes to providing their customers with a bargain, and it seems that they are at it again with an offer aimed directly at students. The deal, offered in conjunction with the American Sprint network, will see students offered a full year's worth of free service when they purchase a qualifying smartphone from the Best Buy range.
As was the case with the iPhone releases last month, the announcement of two new iPads is likely to drum up a series of special trade-in offers throughout the retail market, and, as ever, Best Buy is leading the way. Through November 9th, the retail chain will be offering $200 credit for your old iPad, which you can then put towards a newer model, and although, as is often the case, you stand to lose quite a bit compared with selling privately, you don't then have to go through the rather tiresome rigmarole of waiting for payment, making provisions for potential dispute, packing up and sending the device.
Seeking to find brand new Apple products at a cut-price is a very difficult game to be involved in, but in a rare glimmer of hope for those trying to save a little of that hard-earned cash, Best Buy is running a series of deals on the MacBook Air as a Mother's Day special. Some specifications of the ultra-slender notebook have been dropped by as much as $100, and with a further $25 saved by entering the code MOM25, you might even be able to treat your mom (or yourself..) to a shiny new MacBook Air this Mother's Day.
If you are thinking of buying a laptop for a bargain price, you are likely not going to have much luck with Apple. Discounts on Apple products are scarce and often not too compelling, yet Best Buy is making an exception by selling MacBook Airs and MacBook Pros for up to $700 off, at least for the next 2 days.
