Apple today announced via a new press release that it is partnering with retail mammoth Best Buy to expand the authorized service network. Now, users will be able to take their Apple hardware into a huge number of Best Buy stores across the United States to have them repaired and replaced.

Apple says that almost 1,000 Best Buy stores will now provide service and repairs of Apple products, with cities including Yuma, Arizona; Sioux City, Iowa; Twin Falls, Idaho; Casper, Wyoming and Bismarck, North Dakota will all now have improved access to Apple repairs due to the move.

Best Buy’s Geek Squad “has nearly 7,600 newly Apple-certified technicians ready to make same-day iPhone repairs or to service other Apple products“ the report notes.

“At Apple, we’re dedicated to providing the best customer service in the world,” said Tara Bunch, Apple’s vice president of AppleCare. “If a customer ever needs to repair their products, we want them to feel confident those repairs are done safely and correctly. We’re always looking at how we can reliably expand our network of trained technicians and we’re excited to partner with every Best Buy store so it’s even easier for our customers to find an authorized repair location near them.”

Best Buy stores join the more than 1,800 third-party Apple authorized service providers already offering service beyond that which Apple Stores offer. Now more people than ever will have easy access to the help they need, when they need it.
