SIM-Free iPhone XR Now Available To Purchase In The US

Those individuals interested in Apple’s affordable iPhone XR in the United States can now purchase the handset directly from Apple on a SIM-free and unlocked basis. This availability means that there is no carrier obligation when purchasing, leaving the consumer to pick a SIM from whomever they like.

In most parts of Europe, consumers expect to be able to purchase a brand new device like iPhone XR on a SIM-free basis.

A consumer generally has the option of purchasing the device SIM-free, purchasing the hardware through Apple with a plan from a carefully selected carrier, or dealing directly with the carrier and opting to take out a minimum-term wireless plan that locks the device to that network and commits the customer to a minimum monthly amount in exchange for a talk, text, and data allowance. Those who are purchasing a SIM-free iPhone XR will be able to take SIM cards from carriers like AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and a whole host of other smaller carriers in the country who offers these types of services.
