It’s out now and it’s official, Mac OS X 10.6.3 was released today by Apple. It is a very crucial update and it implements hundreds of fixes since it’s last update, 10.6.2 (November 2009). You can get the update from Snow Leopard’s Software Update, or directly from the Software Downloads page here.
According to MacRumors, Apple is expected to release iTunes 9.1 on April 3rd, the same day as iPad’s US launch date. This new version of iTunes will bring support for iPad, and a new “Books” section which will replace the existing “Audiobooks” section in the iTunes Store.

So this week when Barron released its annual list of the best CEOs in the world, Steve Jobs of Apple returned to the list from last year, joining Jeffrey Bezos of Amazon.com, Warren Buffett of Berkshire Hathaway and Mark Hurd of Hewlett-Packard. When Barron drew up its annual list of the 30 most respected CEOs, it sought to identify executives who kept their companies out of trouble and took advantage of the downturn to expand, make shrewd acquisitions, feast on the problems of competitors, and sailed their respective companies smoothly to high laurels.
Wow! this is big! We all knew this was going to happen at some point, but not as soon as this. Apparently, some Russian folks have managed to port a “real” working ROM of Windows Phone 7 on the most popular Windows Mobile device – the HTC HD2. Tom Codon of HTCPedia has posted screenshots which shows off the device running an early build of Windows Phone OS 7.0.
The final version of Blacksn0w RC2 is now available on Cydia. This version brings fix for WiFi loss, and boot loops issue which was hampering users in the last ‘test’ release. For those of you who don't know, blacksn0w RC2 is basically a repackaged version of the original unlock released by geohot, and the fix which was recently released by MSFT Guy for 05.11.07 baseband on iPhone OS 3.1.3.
Rumor has it that Apple is gearing up to announce its "Next big thing" - a new personalized, mobile advertising system that could well be dubbed as the "iAd". The buzz is building coincidently, or may be by design, towards the iPad shipment date, which is April 3rd. According to some executives familiar with the plan, Apple's CEO Steve Jobs has described the new ad platform as "revolutionary" and "our next big thing". The sources also informed that it will be officially unveiled at Madison Avenue on April 7th – exactly four days after iPad ships.
After years of cooperation, the CEO’s of Apple and Google, Jobs and Schmidt recently went daggers drawn as their rivalry got personal last week. This cold war between the two has been going on for sometime now, and has slowly converted into a full fledged battle when Eric was unceremoniously removed from the Apple's Board of Directors. Also in the recent past, Jobs opined that the search firm’s motto of "Don’t Be Evil" was simply "bullsh*t" and that the new rival was fully intended on killing the iPhone with its Android despite the companies’ partnership on iPhone services.
A DeviantArt member named fediaFedia is working on an awesome looking theme, which brings Metro UI to your Windows 7 desktop via Rainmeter software. It certainly is a very tempting theme, which is inspired by WP7S, and definitely worth a look. Even though it’s not ready yet for primetime use, thought we’d just share it with you guys.
The infamous iPhone hacker named George Hotz (aka geohot) is back big-time! In a new blog post today, he has announced that he has a working solution to jailbreak & unlock Phone 3GS, 3G, iPod touch 2G, 3G (new bootrom), and most probably the iPad as well. This is what he said about the untethered jailbreak on his blog.
