Apple have only recently pushed out their latest update for the second and third-generation Apple TV, but already the ever reliable and always hard working development teams have been at work implementing their packages in order to bring the public a tethered jailbreak for Apple's puck like set-top box.
Well well well, if the rumors of an Apple television were rampant before, then this latest development certainly isn't going to slow them down. In fact, depending on which side of the fence you sit on, this particular rumor could go so far as to confirm the existence of the fabled Apple Television.

The iPhone Dev Team has released the updated version of their Redsn0w tool which was teased a while back on Twitter by MuscleNerd. The update as you’d expect is a very significant one, and brings with it the support for downgrading the iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and the new 3rd-gen iPad to an earlier version of iOS 5 from iOS 5.1.1.
