HTC One Design Story Published Online, Reveals The Intricate Details That Went Into The Device [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·May 1, 2013
Samsung always seems to derive a degree of utility from showing tech fans exactly how some of their most celebrated devices came to be, and having been treated to as much with a Galaxy S4 clip a couple of days back, HTC has sought to get in on the act as well. Although the Taiwanese outfit will have its work cut out in catching the latest handset in a series that has continually perched itself atop the pile in the smartphone industry, there's a real feeling that the company has outdone itself this time around with the One, and if you're as fascinated by this beautiful device as we are, you can check out HTC's Design Story clip after the leap.

How To Get iOS-like Music App On Android

Ben Reid·May 1, 2013
iOS, much to the dismay of many of its loyal users, has remained relatively unchanged over the past few revisions, but one feature which has been given a visual update fairly recently is the Music app. The iPhone and iPod touch versions have been skinned to look like their iPad counterpart, and the newer uniform look has certainly improved the overall aesthetics, if not the functionality. If you're an Android user, and would like to enjoy the look and feel of this evolved app on your Samsung or HTC, then you may be interested in a new app called iMusic, which readily helps you achieve this goal.

Microsoft Releases ‘Switch to Windows Phone’ Android App, Wants You To Ditch Your Droid For A WP Device

Ben Reid·May 1, 2013
Having established that a significant portion of those adopting the Windows Phone platform will be doing so from Google's Android, Microsoft has created a ‘Switch to Windows Phone’ app which aims to make the process as painless as possible. I must admit, when I first saw it, I thought it was shameless plugging bordering on propaganda, but having delved beneath the surface, it does appear that the Redmond's main objective here is to lay the foundations for a smooth migration over to the tiled realms of Windows Phone 8.

Prepare Yourself For Google Glass With This Official How-To Video

Ben Reid·May 1, 2013
To help prospective Glass owners understand how to use the wearable tech when eventually released, Google has released a how-to video clip detailing the ins and outs of owning one of the most sought-after new gadgets in tech. At present, only developers, creatives and competition winners are lucky enough to be actually experiencing the digital spectacles firsthand, but with the eventual consumer launch firmly in mind, the Big G looks to be grooming techies in anticipation for next year's end-user launch.

How To Enable Google Now Outside US On iPhone And iPad

Ben Reid·May 1, 2013
The Google Search app for iOS received the update to cap all updates a couple of days back when it was revealed that the company had integrated its Now service to users on the Apple operating system. As is typical with initial Google releases though, the new Google Now for iPhone feature was restricted to U.S. only, but as it does so very often, the jailbreak scene has popped up with a solution for those whose Google Now functionality was restricted.

iPhone 6 With Larger Display Launching In June 2014, According To Analyst

Oliver Haslam·May 1, 2013
It seems that a day can't go by right now without there being some sort of story that revolves around Apple's decision to either build a larger iPhone, or its decision against it. It appears that every analyst on the planet has an opinion on the subject when, in all honesty, they're quite probably just guessing as much as everyone else. That doesn't stop them proclaiming their guesses as fact, though.

Rockstar Games has just released three more trailers of its upcoming Grand Theft Auto 5 title, once again offering fans of the series a firsthand look at some of the stunning and visuals and animations set to make the cut for the September release. Despite the initial spring GTA 5 release date being pushed back considerably, Rockstar has done its utmost to keep everybody just as interested, and as well as these new teaser clips, the developer/publisher is also running a casting competition for five lucky winners to be featured in the game itself!

iOS 7 Will Bring Deeper Siri Integration And Maps Support To Your Car’s Dash [Report]

Ben Reid·April 30, 2013
With Siri having been the flagship feature of iOS 5 and Apple Maps, to a notably less welcoming reception, theoretically comprising the marquee feature of iOS 6, Apple has certainly laid the foundations for what's being described as aggressive in-car integration with the forthcoming iOS 7. Whilst in-car chargers, device holders and Bluetooth connectivity facilities are not uncommon accessories available to the roadworthy mobile device owner, it would appear Apple would like to tap into this market with its own solutions.

Call Of Duty: Ghosts Official Teaser Website Goes Live

Ben Reid·April 30, 2013
The teaser site for the next in the series of Call of Duty has gone live, presenting a dark background with a pixelated but still visible image of a ghost's mask. The new landing page, which can be found over at callofduty.com, signifies that an announcement of the forthcoming title is nigh, and with leaks indicating Ghosts as being a central theme to the next Call of Duty release, it doesn't appear as though avid fans of the series will have to wait too much longer to learn of specifics.

Original iPhone Will Soon Join The Ranks Of The Obsolete On June 11 [IMAGE]

Ben Reid·April 30, 2013
According to an internal Apple memo obtained by 9to5Mac, the original iPhone will soon become 'obsolete' in the eyes of the Cupertino company, with those looking for service or repairs at Apple Retail Stores or mail-in AppleCare Repair Centers unable to do so in most places. It is natural for an Apple product to become 'vintage' or 'obsolete' after five years, but there's a certain significance, dare I say poignancy attached to this particular progression, for the device is about as iconic as anything Apple has ever released.
