iPhone Air And iPhone 6c With Curved Display Concept Makes One Hell Of A Duo [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·December 13, 2013
It's a sad fact of the fast-moving tech world that a device doesn't even need to have released nowadays before we deem it acceptable to begin talking about its eventual successor, and despite the iPhone 5s being lauded by many as the best thing since sliced bread, we've already heard reports of the next iPhone boasting a larger display. Until we have any solid evidence, though, everything we hear or see is more than likely the figment of somebody's imagination, and the concepts below, which are most certainly conjured from deep within the creative minds of one design agency, show us what a curved iPhone 6c, alongside an iPhone Air, may look like.

Cut The Rope 2 Gameplay Trailer Released Ahead Of Big Launch [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·December 13, 2013
Of all the games to benefit from the smartphone boom, Cut The Rope has emerged triumphant. Despite the App and Google Play Stores both having popularized hundreds of great titles, a few, such as Angry Birds, Tiny Wings and Temple Run stick in the mind as stand-outs, and Cut The Rope must surely be revered among these other modern classics. As has been common knowledge for a while now, the sequel, appropriately entitled Cut The Rope 2, is incoming, and today, the first official game play trailer has been released.

New OS X 11 Concept Brings Apple’s Desktop OS In Line With iOS 7 [Images]

Ben Reid·December 13, 2013
OS X has long since been the de facto, Apple-based alternative to Microsoft's domineering Windows, but despite becoming more popular over the past decade thanks to some innovative, MacBook-shaped hardware, it's fair to say that the Cupertino's desktop operating system now plays second fiddle to its very own iOS. Week after week we get to take a look at varied OS X concepts of what the next version of iOS might entail, but in something of a rare treat, and one designer has pieced together an idea for OS X 11. Check it out after the break!

PS4 Was Top Selling Console In November, Xbox One Was Fastest Selling

Paul Morris·December 13, 2013
Sony and Microsoft have both attempted to continue the console roller-coaster by issuing separate statements about their hardware. The individual statements both take the opportunity to reflect on the sales and successes of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One during the first calendar month of availability. As you might expect, neither company is initially prepared to accept that they are playing catch-up with the other, and as a result have opted to put their own individual slant on November's sales figures with the intention of claiming an early victory.

How To Wrap The MacBook Charger Power Cord The Right Way [VIDEO]

Oliver Haslam·December 13, 2013
Apple is known for its attention to detail, and that focus on the little things is probably why it sells its MacBooks with power bricks that have flick-out wings for wrapping the cord around. It's not a big thing, but it's just enough to make lugging a notebook computer around just that little bit easier.

Twitter 3.0 for OS X Released: Features A More Visual Timeline, Beautiful Profile Views And Updated Design

Aatif·December 13, 2013
Twitter for OS X had been on the low for quite some time, so much so that some had started to debate the likelihood that the company had pretty much given up on the platform. All of that changes today, when a new and refreshed Twitter for Mac 3.0 has just been released on the Mac App Store. Believe me when I say it, the new version will make you want to use the native Twitter app on your Mac once again, and ditch all the third-party solutions that you might have had employed over the course of time.

Windows Phone 9 Release Date Tipped For Late 2014, Will Ditch Modern UI, According To Report

Oliver Haslam·December 13, 2013
Microsoft's Windows Phone has failed to capture the hearts and minds of the great unwashed smartphone buying masses, even if it has managed to carve out a little corner of the sales pie chart to call its own. Unfortunately for Microsoft though, that little bit of market share isn't going to cut the mustard moving forward, especially with the acquisition of Nokia expected to move the mobile division of the Redmond firm onto the next step.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Remaster Hits iOS And Android [Download Link]

Ben Reid·December 13, 2013
Nintendo may be playing hard ball with regards to releasing and re-releasing titles on mobile devices outside its own DS portable console, but other celebrated gaming outfits have adapted their games rather nicely to the touch-screen. SEGA is one such company, and having already released several variations of games featuring the speedy, spiky character of Sonic, the remaster of the classic Sonic The Hedgehog 2 has just been readied for those on iOS and Android. Details, as well as the download link, can be seen after the fold.

Ben Reid·December 12, 2013
Apple's iPhone 5s launched back in late September alongside the so-called budget iPhone 5c, and although, as we know, first weekend sales figures were record-breaking, the trend largely continued throughout the month of October. According to a report by Counterpoint, the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5 both outsold the Samsung Galaxy S4 in the month of October, with Samsung's flagship sitting in third spot, while the iPhone 5c took fourth place in the worldwide sales race.
