Skype Qik Video Messaging App For iOS, Android, Windows Phone Released, Download It From Here

Zayed Rehman·October 14, 2014
A few days back, Skype introduced some revamped features for its desktop client, with a distinct focus on improving the user's instant messaging experience. So while Skype is busy improving the users' experience on both, the mobile and desktop version of its app, let us introduce you to Skype Qik. Taking a distinctly different route than Skype, Skype Qik is built for asynchronous video messaging, where you create and share video messages with online and offline users. The app gives you a slight peek into what Skype may have looked like had it started out as an app for the mobile.

Here’s When Galaxy S5, S4, Note 3 And More Will Get Android 4.4.4 Update

Ben Reid·October 14, 2014
This week is already shaping up as a busy one thanks to Apple's confirmed event at Town Hall, but according to reports and rumors, Google could well be poised to steal the show with a major roll-out of its own. Android L, which we first saw at this year's I/O event, is a rather significant bump on the current Android KitKat, and although the Big G has said very little on this topic, October is the search giant's usual month of choice for such announcements. With Android L seemingly imminent, users of Samsung devices will be looking on with a keen interest, and now, we've a leaked roadmap that indicates which of the Korean outfit's line-up will be seeing new software, and perhaps more importantly, when.

Finnish PM On Apple: They Killed Nokia And Our Paper Industry

Zayed Rehman·October 14, 2014
It wasn't too long ago when Finnish Prime Minister, Alexander Stubb, openly blamed Apple, or more appropriately, Steve Jobs for Finland’s economic struggles. Stubb, in a recent interview on CNBC, said that Apple has caused the decline of two major industries of Finland: IT industry led by Nokia, and the paper industry. Stubb was replying to a question about the country's business environment following a decline in its credit rating.

If The iPad Air 2 / Mini 3 Looked Like iPhone 6 / 6 Plus [Concept Images]

Zayed Rehman·October 14, 2014
With just a few days left to the unveiling of the new iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 at Apple's event, well-known designer Martin Hajek has released rendered images of the new tablets from the Cupertino giant. Hajek's images are an attempt to showcase what the iPad Air 2 and mini 3 could look like if Apple decides to take design cues from the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Unlike the previous generations, the new iPhones have taken an altogether different design route with curved edges, plastic bands dividing the rear aluminum backplate into three regions, and an overall slimmer shell. It would be the first time that Apple launched a phone with a protruding camera as well. Hajek takes these design elements and shows us what unsurprisingly looks like a stretched iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.
