Olloclip Announces Its First Multi-Device Camera Lens Clip For iPhone X, Others

The fine folks over at Olloclip already have a fine reputation for making some of the best third-party smartphone camera accessories around and now the company is at it again, this time unveiling its newest attachment that will not only work with the iPhone X, but also “most mobile devices.” The clip can also be used with six different interchangeable lenses.

Having previously made attachments for iPhones only, the new attachment is a multi-device affair that brings the Olloclip magic to the likes of Samsung and Google phones, giving them some of the best lenses in the business to play with. The new product is Olloclip’s first multi-device clip.

The Multi-Device Clip features an expanding clip design that provides a flush alignment of the camera and lens, and compatibility with screen protectors and smartphone cases up to 12mm in combined thickness.

Most notably, the clip can be used with phones that have cases or screen protectors on and can be connected to both front and rear-facing cameras for maximum flexibility. Anyone who already owns Connect X lenses will be pleased to learn that the new attachment also works with those existing lenses, including the super-wide, ultra-wide, telephoto, fisheye/macro, macro 7x + 14x, and Macro 21x lenses. There’s less good news if you have Connect Lenses for iPhones other than the iPhone X, however, as Olloclip says that they are incompatible with the new attachment.

The new Multi-Device Clip goes on sale in September and will cost $60, including one Connect X lens. Additional lenses can be purchased separately for $45 apiece.
