New Apple Watch Series 8 Details Leaked Including The Colors And More

Apple Watch Series 8 is expected to go on sale before the end of the year and we’re expecting a new rugged version to join it.

It’s the standard watch that we’re hearing more about right now, though, with leaker ShrimpApplePro reporting that we now know what colors to expect from the release.

According to a series of tweets from the leaker, those hoping for a new look are set to be disappointed. Instead, expect the new watch to look largely the same as the outgoing Apple Watch Serie 7.

We do know what colors to expect, though, with Midnight, Starlight, Product Red, and Silver all being offered for the aluminum finish. Those going for stainless steel will get silver and graphite options.

Case sizes are also expected to remain the same as we are used to, with 41mm and 45mm options the only ones on the table. That does mean that all of your existing bands will work just fine, although those hoping for a redesign and a new size are out of luck here. The rugged Apple Watch is thought to be the one that will offer a larger case size, though.

As for when the Apple Watch Series 8 will be released, we’re told that everything is on schedule. That should put a release around two weeks after the Apple event in the first couple of weeks of September — an event that will see Apple announce the iPhone 14 lineup.
