Mophie Powerstation Go Can Jumpstart Your Car, Wirelessly Charge Smartphones, More

With CES now underway we’re seeing plenty of announcements, including the new Mophie powerstation go. It’s a portable battery that comes in one of six colors and can apparently jump start a car. Or it can just wirelessly charge your phone instead.

There’s more to this thing than that, though. It has two USB-A ports for charging just about anything, and there’s even a standard AC output for those times you need a standard plug socket.

And then, of course, there’s the jumper cables that Mophie says you can use to power anything up to and including an SUV. And there’s an LED flashlight, too.

With a 44,400mWh battery this thing will charge your phone plenty of times via that Qi-compatible pad on the top. The battery itself needs around nine hours to fully charge and Mophie says that it needs to be at least 50% charged in order to be used to jump-start a car, too.

If you want to make sure that your fancy charging kit matches your car, you probably can.

There are six colors to choose from including black, cobalt, pink, brown, gold, and sapphire. It’ll cost $159.95 when it goes on sale on January 9 and if you’re someone who wants to have plenty of power options in your car at all times, this is a pretty good way to do exactly that.
