LG’s New UltraFine Ergo 4K Monitor Sports A Versatile Swivel-And-Tilt Hinge

LG has lifted the lid on the latest phone to carry the UltraFine branding, although this one isn’t specifically designed for use with Macs like the UltraFine 4K and UltraFine 5K are. Instead, the UltraFine Ergo is designed to be just that – ergonomic.

At 32 inches and with a 4K panel, this is a large screen. It also supports a 60Hz refresh rate and FreeSync for those who need it. Colors rate at 95% P3 and you can get up to 350 nits of brightness as well. Connectivity is handed by USB-C, HDMI, and DisplayPort inputs.

But what makes this monitor stand out is the fact it has no stand. Instead, it clamps to a desk and can then be adjusted in more ways than you’re ever likely to need. But it’s a lot.

The LG Ergo was developed for working professionals and anyone who spends a significant amount of time at a desk. The technologically and ergonomically advanced arm-type stand with its high degree of adjustability enables users to create perfectly customized workstations. The LG Ergo stand can extend outward or positioned close to the wall, moved up to eye-level or lowered to the desk. It can even swivel to face the opposite direction for convenient sharing of information with an office colleague. The Ergo a monitor can be positioned at the perfect height, distance and angle for a far more comfortable and more sustainable user experience.

Unfortunately, we don’t know when this monitor will be available or how much we will need to hand over in order to get hold of one. But what we do know is definitely enough to grab our attention for now. We should find out more during CES next month.
