iOS 14 Concept Shows New Call Screen UI, Icons, Complications, More [Video]

Given the state that iOS 13 has left many iPhone and iPad owners in, it’s perhaps not all that surprising that we’re already seeing concept videos for what the next update might look like. iOS 14 isn’t due to be announced until June of 2020, but the first concept we’ve come across looks surprisingly good.

You don’t have to watch the video too long before the refreshed icons catch your eye. Some of Apple’s first-party apps are due a little refresh in the icon department but it’s beyond that where things really start to look good.

The all-new call screen is an improvement over what we’ve been using for the last few years, and with Split View included on an iPhone for the first time, multitasking is a breeze. Being able to drag and drop between apps would be amazing too

Similar to the Apple Watch Series 5, this iOS 14 concept would allow an iPhone to have an always-on display, too. That’s something we’ve been hoping for ever since the iPhone went OLED at the high end. This concept shows the clock and important information displayed at all times and we have to say, we want it badly.

A new, more customizable Home screen is also included in this concept and again, that’s something we are absolutely here for. We’d suggest checking the full video out for all the lowdown on what we might be looking for in iOS 14. If even half of this comes to pass, we’ll be very happy bunnies indeed.
