How To Make Zoom Calls On Amazon Echo Show

Here’s how to make Zoom calls on your compatible Amazon Echo Show device, complete with step by step instructions.

Zoom has become something that many of us use in daily life whether that’s at work or otherwise. Zoom works on Macs, PCs, Android phones, and iPhones and that’s just the start. Now, those who use an Echo Show 8 or Echo Show 10 can also take part in Zoom calls.

Using Zoom on an Echo Show doesn’t even need you to have a Zoom account to call your own, although you can sign in if you have one.

Getting Zoom set up is dead easy because you don’t actually need to do anything at all.

Step 1: Say “Alexa, join my Zoom meeting” to get started.

Step 2: Alexa will ask for your meeting ID. You can either use your voice to respond or enter it manually on-screen.

Step 3: You’ll be asked for your passcode. Enter that the same way.

Step 4: An on-screen display will offer buttons for muting and video control, while you can end the meeting by either pressing a button or saying “Alexa, end meeting.”

We told you it was simple!

If you do have a Zoom account and want to sign in you can also say “Alexa, open Zoom” and then tap the Zoom sign-in button. Then it’s just a case of following the on-screen instructions and you’re all set.
