If you’re the owner of a brand-new iPhone 16e and have been looking forward to installing the iOS 18.4 beta 2, you’re in luck — it’s now available to download for you.
This comes after Apple released the second iOS 18.4 beta available for download with support for the iPhone 16e added to the mix.
The update brings with it a number of new improvements including the Apple News+ Food feature as well as Priority Notifications, a feature of Apple Intelligence that is designed to help reduce notification fatigue. The final iOS 18.4 release will also bring with it a new Apple Vision Pro app for the configuration of the spatial computer.
It isn’t yet confirmed when we can expect that the iOS 18.4 update will be released to the public, but it’s likely that there will be a few more betas released before that happens. Any issues identified by Apple during the beta program could also cause the final release to be pushed further into the future.
It’s important to note that this is the second developer beta, so you need to be a registered developer in order to download this release.
A public beta release is also expected to arrive soon, but you should also remember that there could well be issues and bugs while Apple works through any kinks.
