Download: iOS 17.1 Beta 1 IPSW Links, OTA Update Out, Check New Features Here

You can now download iOS 17.1 beta 1 IPSW links and OTA update for your iPhone. Here are all the new features and changes in this seed in one place.

After releasing iOS 17.0, and the subsequent 17.0.1 and 17.0.2 bug fix updates, Apple today has seeded first iOS 17.1 and iPadOS 17.1 betas to developers.

These updates bring back a lot of the missing features that were dropped by Apple in initial iOS 17.0 release after announcing them originally back in June at WWDC this year.

Some of these features that are now included back in iOS 17.1 are NameDrop, AirDrop over the Internet, changes to ringtones section, ability to favorite songs and albums in Apple Music, ability to check credit card and bank account balances for the Wallet app in the UK, and more.

Alongside iOS 7.1 beta 1 for iPhone and iPadOS 17.1 beta 1 for iPad, Apple has also seeded watchOS 10.1 beta 1 for Apple Watch, tvOS 17.1 beta 1 for Apple TV and macOS 14.1 beta 1 for Mac.

All of these updates can be downloaded over-the-air from Settings > General > Software Update section of the device. Make sure you have toggle for Beta Update to On in order to get iOS 17.0.2 OTA update to show up like in screenshot below.

Alternatively, you can grab the IPSW links for your device directly from developer.apple.com and update to get it using iTunes on Windows or Finder on Mac.

If we find out more changes in iOS 17.1 beta 1, we will report back on them here. Stay tuned for more on this space.
