Download: iOS 11 Beta 4 Released For Devs, Here Are The Details

You can now download iOS 11 beta 4 IPSW and OTA update for compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. For those with a registered developer account, it’s immediately possible to either download the latest beta as an over-the-air installation or to get the IPSW file relevant to your device.

We are moving ever closer to Apple’s ultimate release date for iOS 11, which will get a global public roll out alongside the new 2017 iPhone lineup later this year.

That eventual release date means that Apple needs to continue to pump out improvements and new betas to allow developers to test individual elements of the platform. It also gives the company continuous feedback in the form of bug and issue submissions that will ultimately be prioritized in order of importance and severity when it comes to assigning resource of Apple’s engineers.

Now that this particular version is propagating through the relevant channels, and ultimately making its way onto developers’ devices around the world, we need a little time to investigate what it actually contains in terms of improvements, fixes, and potential feature additions, which we will, of course, bring directly to you as soon as we get a better understanding.

However, judging by Apple’s third iOS 11 beta release to developers from two weeks ago, we can expect a new release which is packed with immediately noticeable refinements.

With beta 3 release, Apple managed to pique the interest of many forward-thinking developers with the integration of new features around the brand new ARKit framework. The Cupertino-based company also managed to resolve issues around using 3D Touch in certain areas, interfacing with AirPlay, and even solved a number of issues being experienced with third-party services, such as the syncing of books via Kindle and audio and video problems being experienced with using Sling TV. Of course, beta 3 did also come with a fairly comprehensive and daunting list of known issues, some of which have hopefully been ironed out with the release of today’s beta 4 seed.
