Chameleon Run For iOS Is Apple’s Free App Of The Week [$2 Value]

Apple is back again with its Free App of the Week offer, and this time it’s a game which usually retails for $1.99 on the App Store, but iPhone and iPad users can download the game for free till next Thursday.

Called Chameleon Run, the game last went free back in November last year and if you’ve not had a chance since to grab hold of the action, you’re being tempted back in to trying it out on your iOS device with a zero price tag.

A free-running game, the platform isn’t exactly a unique one or one that mobile gamers won’t be familiar with, but of course as you guessed it, there must be something special about it, right?

Before we get into the workings of the game, what will instantly pop out are the brilliant colors and the beautiful geometrical landscape, which as you guessed it, presents itself as a challenge to overcome. As per the developer, “Your goal is to switch your color to match the ground as you run and jump from platform to platform. Sounds easy right? Well think again!”

The controls are simple as they can get with the “two-button controls” to help you make some quick moves given the “Fast paced running, jumping and switching”.

Complete set of Chameleon Run features can be seen below:

– Fast paced running, jumping and switching colors
– Fun jumping mechanics like “double jump” and “head jump”
– Pixel perfect physics
– Stylish, super smooth and colorful graphics
– Non-linear levels with 3 special objectives in each one
– Compete for the fastest time on each level
– Simple two button controls

If you’re a fan of auto-running platforms, Chameleon Run is for you. If you’re a fan of beautiful minimalistic graphics, Chameleon Run is a must try. Either ways, as mentioned earlier, this additive title can be downloaded onto an iPhone or iPad absolutely free till next Thursday, so it’s worth checking it out and then consider keeping it or deleting it.
