I have just updated my Windows 7 Wallpapers and Windows 7 Themes Gallery with four new themes & wallpapers, inspired by Windows 7 Box Art.
Windows 7 has already been RTM’d and is now officially available to Connect, MSDN and TechNet Plus subscribers. For those of you who are downloading the original bits from either MSDN or TechNet can use this Box Art DVD Cover to package your personalized copy in your very own Windows 7 Ultimate Box.
Windows Virtual PC along with XP Mode (RC) was released yesterday for Windows 7 Ultimate, Enterprise and Professional users. We all know that Virtual PC 2007 didn't have the support to enable Windows Aero in guest machines because of the built-in VM virtualized graphics driver which couldn't support true GPU hardware acceleration. Thanks to the powerful set of “Integration Components” in Windows Virtual PC and enhanced version of Remote Desktop in 7, we can now have full Aero Glass experience in Windows 7 VMs provided the host machine has Windows Aero enabled.
The near final bits (Release Candidate) of Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP Mode for Windows 7 RTM are now available for download. Windows XP Mode (XPM) is basically built as a side feature of Windows Virtual PC – the next version of Microsoft’s client virtualization technology and comes with a free fully licensed and pre-configured copy of Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3).
The final version of Windows 7 (RTM Build 7600.16385.090713-1255) is packed with almost twice the number of user pictures than they were in Windows Vista or any previous version of Windows. The following downloadable pack includes complete collection of 37 beautiful User Account Pictures from Microsoft’s latest operating system – Windows 7.
Here is a complete set of Windows 7 Icons extracted from Windows 7 RTM (Build 7600.16385). You may use it for any personal use such as to revamp your existing Vista or XP installation to make it look like Windows 7. The Windows 7 RTM Icons Pack contains 227 Hi-Resolution icons extracted directly from Windows resource files.
In Windows 7, Microsoft has included a new desktop customization feature called Aero Themes which enables users to customize the desktop wallpaper with a matching glass color, screensaver, icons and sound scheme of their choice.

Today at Microsoft Global Exchange Conference (MGX), Microsoft has officially announced that Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 are complete and are now ready for Release to Manufacturing (RTM) to the OEM’s & other Partners.
Microsoft has just announced the availability dates of Windows 7 RTM for OEM Partners, Business Customers, IT Professionals, Developers, Testers/Enthusiasts and Consumers.
