The majority of the week dedicated to Apple's annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC 2016) in San Francisco may be aimed at providing developers with the opportunity to meet and greet Apple engineers with the aim of learning and solving problems, but over the years, the event has transitioned to become as much about the company's software and hardware announcements. As we approach the event, it seems that multiple Apple Stores are showing very limited stock of the company's Thunderbolt Display, potentially alluding to a new product reveal as part of the conference opening keynote.
Photos allegedly leaked by "one of Apple’s manufacturing partners in China," show a display-less chassis of the 2016 MacBook Pro with an empty strip at the top of the keyboard, corroborating earlier rumors of an integrated OLED touch panel.
A recently granted patent by the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) has hinted that Cupertino-based Apple Inc. may be exploring bringing a cellular capable MacBook to the market in the future. Apple's current range of MacBook machines ship with an excellent array of features and native apps by default, which in turn offer an excellent set of functionality to users. However, in order to extend that functionality, whether it be installing additional apps, accessing content on the Internet, or streaming audio or video media, there's a requirement to be connected to the Internet either through a wireless or wired connection. This new patent introduces the idea of a new Apple MacBook which offers connectivity for a cellular network, similar to an iPhone or LTE-enabled iPad.

BitTorrent has today announced a new multichannel TV application that acts as the company's own unique take on the live television experience. The multichannel video streaming application - called BitTorrent Live - will initially introduce shows and coverage spanning five key areas: news, sports, technology, youth culture, and music, and will launch on the Apple's fourth-generation Apple TV platform in the first instance this week. In addition to offering immediate support for the tvOS App Store and Apple TV, the company has plans of grandeur to bring the BitTorrent Live experience to additional platforms later in the year.
Apple has officially released OS X 10.11.5 for public download and consumption. The official availability of the fifth update to OS X El Capitan comes on the back of four prior pre-release beta seeds, and is available for all compatible Macs through the usual update mechanisms.
Apple has acknowledged that iTunes / Apple Music has been deleting music files for some users, and that a fix is coming next week. Interestingly, the company has been unable to identify the exact cause of this problem.
