Since the launch of the iPhone 4S in October this year, it seems that a week cannot pass by without new rumors and speculation emerging regarding the release of a new Siri port allowing users of older generation devices to take advantage of the advanced features that the Apple’s new personal assistant offers. Some of the well publicized solutions have been nothing more than a port of the Siri GUI, while others have been genuine working hacks which unfortunately require the illegal distribution of files to make it a sustainable solution for the masses.
Earlier this week, Facebook rolled out the new Timeline profile view worldwide for both web and Mobile web users. While the update for Android app with Timeline view was available on the same day as well, update for iOS app wasn’t, this was probably because of strict screening process that it had to go through before final approval for iTunes App Store.
The App Store is full of many great boredom-busting games. From puzzlers such as Bejeweled Blitz, physics-based challenges like Beyond Ynth, and the visual marvels such as Infinity Blade II, there's literally something for everybody.
Although much of the developing and modding is made as simple as possible for those not particularly adept to the ins and outs of iOS, issues can often arise, and what is often a smooth process can sometimes be a little tricky with a hurdle or two in the way.
A new report published by Nielsen offers a lot of insight into smartphone usage in the US. Some of the findings are particularly interesting because of how users trends are separated by age group. For example, the majority of 18 to 24 and 25 to 34 year olds now own smartphones: 53% and 64% respectively. We’ll cover the rest of the findings one by one.
