Seriously Sony? you are comparing a full-fledged portable gaming console to a multi-functional smartphone? Boy Genius Report is reporting about a block of low level operating system code found in iOS 4 which reveals codenames for CDMA iPhone 4 and the next-gen iPad. Their sources at Apple has confirmed that the queries you see in the screenshot below refers to CDMA iPhone (on Verizon) and iPad 2 and that they are about to hit the field testing stage. Yesterday, Apple released the iOS 4.0.2 for iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G, iPod touch 3G / 2G and iOS 3.2.2 for iPad to fix the PDF exploit which was used by JailbreakMe.com. Since the nature of exploit was highly vulnerable, Apple recommended everyone to update to this new firmware in order to secure all iOS based devices. This of course also meant that jailbreak and unlock for iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad and iPod touch 3G on iOS 4.0.2 / 3.2.2 will not be possible for these mentioned devices.

Simply follow the step by step guide posted below to jailbreak the mentioned devices on iOS 4.0.2 using Redsn0w.
Apple has just released iOS 4.0.2 for all iPhones, iPod touches, and iOS 3.2.2 for iPad to patch the PDF exploit which was used by JailbreakMe to jailbreak all iOS devices on iOS 4.0.1.
