Just by holding down the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously, anyone can take a screenshot that is automatically saved to the device’s Camera Roll. Screenshots are great for showing developers what bugs look like, or just sharing something awesome with your friends. Some people even like to see what everyone else's home screens look like and you'll need to take a screenshot for that.
