How To Root Galaxy S III

Ben Reid·May 25, 2012
Most of you looking to get your hands on Samsung's latest Galaxy S III smartphone will still be waiting, but courtesy of the intuitive folks over at XDA, it's already been rooted. As was the case with the Galaxy S, S II and the larger-than-life Galaxy Note, it doesn't have a locked bootloader, so the task of acquiring root was automatically that tidbit easier.

Google+ For Android Updated, Now On Par With The iPhone Version

Uzair Ghani·May 24, 2012
It was only a few weeks ago when Google pushed out an eye-candy version 2.0 update for its Google+ app for the iPhone. Although it’s the best update to the Google+ app we’ve seen so far, but it was somewhat strange to see that the iPhone version was released first instead of the Android version.

Apple And Samsung CEOs Reach No Conclusion In Patent Talks

Ben Reid·May 24, 2012

Google’s Acquisition Of Motorola Mobility Is Now Complete, Deal Closes In At A Whooping $12.5 Billion

Paul Paliath·May 22, 2012
Google CEO Larry Page has just announced that the company has at last completed its acquisition of Motorola Mobility, which has been in the works for around 9 months now. Originally announced in August of last year, Google had plenty of regulatory approval hurdles in its way before it could finalize the move; but with the approval of the acquisition coming from China a few days ago, the company was finally able to seal the deal. Motorola Mobility has now been acquired by Google for $12.5 billion, meaning that the company paid $40 per share.

All Galaxy S III Apps, Including Working S Voice And TouchWiz UI, Now Up For Grabs For Other Android ICS Devices

Ben Reid·May 22, 2012
From a software perspective, the most sought feature of the brand-new Samsung Galaxy S III is undoubtedly the S Voice feature, which is a similar implementation to Apple's Siri voice assistant, which launched along with iOS 5 and the iPhone 4S back in October. That's not the only new feature on the S III's list of exclusives, and thankfully for those not planning to invest in the yet-to-be-released, uber powerful device, the Android community is frantically trying to extract the goodies from the ROM leaked earlier this week, and so far, it has been a pretty fruitful venture.
