Touch ID Will Reportedly Be Embedded In The Power Button Of The 2016 MacBook Pro

Paul Morris·August 9, 2016
Apple is widely expected to announce a new MacBook Pro range this year, with a new previously reliable source giving some additional insight into the potential hardware features of the revamped MacBook Pro. We've already heard rumors suggesting that a new MacBook Pro range would include Touch ID and a touch-sensitive OLED bar that would essentially be introduced as a replacement for the existing function quick access keys. Those rumors don't show any sign of disappearing any time soon as they have now been joined by the suggestion that the Touch ID tech would be embedded into the machine's power button.

Paul Morris·August 5, 2016
A recent patent filing published by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) shows a Samsung filing for 'exchangeable strap mechanisms', with the drawing illustrations and design uploads quite clearly showing the Apple Watch without actually providing any reference to the fact that the visuals were created by Apple, or that they actually show a product manufactured by someone other than the South Korean company.

Apple Working On Wireless Earbuds Featuring Custom Bluetooth Chip For All-Day Battery Life

Paul Morris·August 5, 2016
A new report is reigniting the Apple audio accessory rumors that have been circulating since it became common knowledge that future iPhones would ship without the inclusion of the 3.5mm headphone jack. Rather than looking to offer a 3.5mm to Lightning adapter for the foreseeable, the report is suggesting that Apple is working internally on building a set of wireless EarPods that would not only ship with future iPhones, but would also have a custom Bluetooth radio that would make the accessory more energy efficient, and therefore provide elongated use between charges.
