Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy S5 gets an ETA, and it seems as though it will be hitting devices around the globe sooner than we expected.
The team at Microsoft Garage just released three apps for Google's Android platform. The 'Next Lock Screen', 'Journeys and Notes', and 'Torque' apps coming in from the team signify the direction that Microsoft Garage is taking, by letting employees create cross-platform apps in their spare time.
Google has announced an app called 'Inbox', developed by the Gmail Team. Technically, it servers as your Gmail client, but offers an experience nothing close to contemporary ones. Inbox is supposedly a more inherently-intelligent service that handles your emails as a service available on the Web (Chrome only), and as an app for iOS 7+ and Android 4.1+.
Along with the Motorola-made Nexus 6 smartphone and the all-new Android 5.0 Lollipop software, Google also recently took the wraps off the Nexus 9 tablet, which Taiwanese company HTC was tasked with building. Based on the images and specs, the new slate certainly looks promising, and now, we've a hands-on clip to ogle at.
The first hands-on video of the Google Nexus 6 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has surfaced. The two phablets can be seen side-by-side for the first time in this short video, giving users a very important real-time feel of what the two devices look like when compared to each other.
