Up until now, we all have seen countless concept prototypes that shows off the supposedly rumored Apple Tablet which the folks in Cupertino have been secretly working on. But none of them comes close to this one, published by a French site named NoWhereElse. This is the prototype that I for one wish was for real.

The rumor mill for the next generation iPhone 4G is heating up yet again. According to a tweet posted by Eldar Murtazin (editor in chief of Mobile Review) on his twitter account, Apple has contacted Foxconn regarding orders for the next-gen iPhone. Foxconn is the manufacturer which Apple uses for their various products like the iPhone, Mac Mini and iPod line.

Some units of HTC HD2 were shipped with camera problem in which a pink hue spot was noticed in the center of all the snaps taken from the 5 megapixel autofocus camera on board HTC HD2. HTC first confirmed it as an hardware issue but then later they found out that it was infact a software issue, rather than a hardware one. And now HTC has rolled out a software update which fixes this problem on all the defected handsets.
Google today has announced the public availability of Goggles which can let you search the web using images, without having to speak or write anything. You can simply take a picture with the camera on your phone, Goggles will then analyze and process your image, and then it will return a relevant search results page from Google. Currently, Goggles identifies landmarks, books, logos, business cards, places, wine bottles and works of art. Support for things like food, plants, cars, animals and suggestions of move in a chess game will added in future releases.
Google today has announced the rollout of its Real-Time Search technology which will enable users to see the relevant information in search results from information published on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, FriendFeed and identi.ca. This new search option is also optimized to run on mobile devices such as the iPhone and other Android based devices. This announcement was made today at a news conference held at the Computer History Museum.

A guy by the name of rodrigofd at modaco forums has managed to port HTC HD2 Rom, complete with HTC Sense 2.5 on his Samsung Omnia II. It’s still a work in progress but he has stated that he is going to release to the Rom soon for Omnia II users once he is done with full testing. A Chinese site by the name of Mobile Android seems to have found first pictures and specs sheet of the upcoming sequel to the popular Droid phone, dubbed as Motorola Sholes Tablet. The leaked specs sheet looks impressive with 3.7’’ 840x485 WVGA capacitive multi-touch screen, 8 megapixel camera and HDMI output like the one in Zune HD. This combination of HDMI port + 8 megapixel camera will enable Sholes (Droid 2.0) to record high definition video, and then output it in HD 720p resolution.
