BitTorrent has today announced a new multichannel TV application that acts as the company's own unique take on the live television experience. The multichannel video streaming application - called BitTorrent Live - will initially introduce shows and coverage spanning five key areas: news, sports, technology, youth culture, and music, and will launch on the Apple's fourth-generation Apple TV platform in the first instance this week. In addition to offering immediate support for the tvOS App Store and Apple TV, the company has plans of grandeur to bring the BitTorrent Live experience to additional platforms later in the year.

Rumor: iPhone 7 To Feature Intel LTE Chips With Download Speeds Of Up To 450Mbps

A newly surfaced report has provided a small amount of insight into the potential supply chain of LTE chips intended for use within Apple's upcoming iPhone 7. According to the recently published report, Intel will be responsible for the provision of up to 50-percent of the faster LTE chips that will be packed into the iPhone 7, which is due to be revealed later this year. The report is currently unconfirmed, but does tie in rather nicely with recent speculation about the potential for Qualcomm to lose one of its biggest accounts to a rival company.
