How To Give Your iPhone X, 8, 7 The PRODUCT(RED) Look Without Breaking The Bank

Just as had been rumored on and off for a few weeks, Apple finally announced the (PRODUCT)RED iPhone 8 and as you might expect, it looks absolutely gorgeous.

After years of making (PRODUCT)RED handsets (iPhone 7 and iPods) with a white front, Apple finally listened to reason and produced the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus versions with a sexy black front panel, making for what may be one of the best looking iPhones yet.

We’d have loved to see this motif on an iPhone X, but unfortunately, that has yet to materialize. However, that does not mean you can’t get the (PRODUCT)RED look without buying a new phone, whether that be an iPhone X, iPhone 8, or something different altogether.

While the official (PRODUCT)RED iPhones do look stunning, and you’re not likely to see too many of them roaming the streets no matter through which city in the world you happen to be strolling, there are other ways of getting a similar look, especially if you don’t want to splash out and get a new iPhone. Ultra-slim cases and skins are a great way of adding color to an iPhone, and they’ve been around forever.

So obviously enough, getting a (PRODUCT)RED look is as simple as picking up a bright red ultra-slim case or skin. Apple of course sells official (PRODUCT)RED cases for its iPhones already, including the iPhone X, but they are expensive and also not as slim profile as you would like them to be.

So, there are plenty of third-party alternatives – all of which will take your “boring” iPhone and make it all red-like, you know, because red looks great on a smartphone. Here are our favorite picks:
