Twelve South Launches Journal Case For 2018 iPad Pro Models In Classy Leather Finish, Functional Design

Popular Apple accessory maker, Twelve South, has just announced a new case for the iPad Pro. Available in both 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes, the Journal for iPad Pro looks and sounds like what you might expect.

The case itself is a large and sturdy affair that not only holds the iPad Pro but also the Apple Pencil. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a place to store your own Bluetooth keyboard or, if you really must, papers.

If you’re familiar with Twelve South’s Journal accessories for other Apple products including the iPhone and MacBook, you’ll be immediately familiar with Journal for iPad Pro.

It has a zip on one edge, so when the case is closed everything inside is about as secure as can be. When stood up, the whole thing looks like a nice leather-bound book, too.

This case can be placed in a couple of different orientations to keep the iPad at just the right height and angle during use, making it perfect no matter how you like to stand your tablet.

Of course, a leather iPad case of this quality isn’t going to be the cheapest case you can buy. Twelve South sells the Journal for iPad Pro for $99.99 in 11-inch guise and the 12.9-inch model will set buyers back $119.99. But from what we can tell, the quality and functionality of the case is such that it probably deserves that price tag.

Both sizes are available for order right now. If keeping your iPad Pro safe while looking stylish is important to you, this might just be the case for you.
