The Rumored iPhone SE 4 Could Release As Soon As Next Week

Apple might reveal the next-generation iPhone SE as early as next week, with a launch expected later in February, according to Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman.

Instead of a big event, Apple will likely announce it through a simple press release.

The iPhone SE 4 is rumored to adopt a sleek iPhone 14-style design, finally ditching the thick bezels and the iconic Touch ID Home button. This change will mark the end of Touch ID on iPhones.

Apple will introduce its first custom modem chip in the iPhone SE 4, moving away from Qualcomm’s chips. Though it won’t be as advanced, it’s a step toward Apple’s independence.

The iPhone SE 4 will reportedly be powered by the same A18 chip found in the iPhone 16, with 8GB of RAM. Expect improved camera capabilities too, with a single 48-megapixel rear lens. Additionally, it will have a USB-C port, meeting European regulations.

Currently priced at $429, the iPhone SE might see a slight price increase but is expected to stay under $500. This will keep it competitive with budget-friendly options from Samsung and Google.
