The Apple TV App Is Now Available For All Xbox One, Series X, And Series S Consoles

We might still be waiting for the Xbox Series X and Series S to arrive but we already have some new software to run when they do.

Microsoft and Apple have just made the Apple TV app available for both consoles as well as Xbox One – plus all its variants.

Microsoft announced the Apple TV app last month and we’ve been waiting for it to arrive ever since. Now it’s here and it works pretty much eh same way we might expect it to. It isn’t the only app either, with Microsoft keen to make sure gamers have access to all their content no matter what streaming provider they happen to be paying.

There’s so much more available on the Apple TV app. You can also subscribe to channels like Showtime, CBS All Access and AMC+. You can browse to buy or rent more than 100,000 movies and shows, with access to your library of previous movie and TV show purchases from Apple. You can watch online, ad-free and on demand through the app. In addition, Family Sharing lets six family members share subscriptions to Apple TV channels using their personal Apple ID and password.

The same app will also be coming to Sony’s PlayStation 4 and PS5, although not for a couple of days. When it does, gamers will be able to watch their iTunes library of movies and TV shows, not to mention the content available via Apple TV+, too.
