Tesla’s Full Self-Driving Beta Is Now Available In Mexico For The First Time

If you’re the owner of a Tesla vehicle in Mexico you can now get in on the Full Self-Driving beta for the first time, allowing advanced driver-assisted features to be used.

Tesla’s announcement came via the Tesla AI account on the X social network, with the company simply saying “¡Hola México!”

As EV notes, this comes after Tesla started to offer the Cybertruck electric pickup in Mexico in September of last year. The company also said in the same month that it planned to launch the FSD beta in Europe and China during the first quarter of 2025.

That rollout is now closer than ever to happening as we reach the middle of February. Tesla confirmed that the launch is ready to go pending regulatory approval, although there is no timeline for when that will happen.

“Hopefully, RHD markets in late Q1, early Q2, pending regulatory approval,” CEO Elon Musk said in September of last year.

Tesla’s rollout of the FSD beta is of course the precursor to it being officially ready for prime time, but there is still some work to do before we get there. Despite the fact that vehicles could well be driving around your neighborhood running beta software, it’s yet to reach its full potential.

If you’re planning to run the FSD beta on your own Tesla EV, keep in mind that beta software is exactly that and issues should be expected.
