Throughout the constant back and forth legal bickering between Apple and Samsung lately, some interesting, formerly confidential tidbits have leaked out giving us a glimpse at some early internal iPhone prototypes. TheVerge spotted a few of them after scouring through various documents, and they're actually rather interesting. One interesting concept in particular draws a hefty deal of inspiration from one of Sony's designs, and Samsung plans to bring it up to basically tell the court that Apple, with all of their accusations, aren't holy angels in the situation either.
No, the article title isn't a typo; I'm not referring to news about the next-generation PlayStation console. Rather, it appears that a revision may be in the works for the existing PS3. Essentially, the FCC filing pertains to a WLAN antenna for the CECH-4001x model of the PS3. While a WLAN antenna certainly sounds boring, the interesting tidbit that we can take away from this is that the current PS3s are in the CECH-2500 through 3000 series. On top of this, a diagram included in the filing to depict where the FCC sticker will be placed appears to vaguely show the chassis of the device. It's more rectangular than the existing model, with an off-center area that acts as a stand for the console.

Sony is clearly going all out with the PlayStation Vita, and with good reason. Ever since the PlayStation Portable, or PSP to its friends, went on sale back in late-2004 in Japan and early-2005 everywhere else, the little PlayStation has had a hard life. Missing the dual thumb-sticks that many argued were a necessity in the post-dual shock world and packing an expensive price point, the PSP struggled for years to make a real impact in a market dominated by machines with Nintendo branding on them.
In an overt attempt to bolster sales, Sony Europe CEO Andrew House has announced that the price of its PlayStation 3 console has been reduced to $249 which equates to a $50 price drop for the 160GB version. The 300GB version has also undergone a price slash, and will set you back the $299 you would have paid for the lower-capacity version until now.
