Send SMS Text Messages And MMS From iPad 2 3G Models Using SwirlyMessage / SwirlySMS [Jailbreak App]
SwirlySpace AB, developers of a suite of apps for both jailbroken iOS devices and non-jailbroken ones, have an app called SwirlyMessages for 3G-ready iPads which allows users to send/receive SMS and MMS. The app worked pretty well on the original iPad and we can confirm, from first-hand experience, that the app works the iPad 2 (jailbroken) as well.
Earlier this week, we showcased Swype for iOS, a new jailbreak that greatly increases typing speed on iOS devices. Back when we first previewed the tweak, it had several caveats, such as low accuracy and other bugs. Swype has now been updated to address those issues and make the port feel more like the original Android version.

Microsoft’s beautiful native app for their Bing search engine on iPad has been updated featuring - besides the usual UI optimizations and bug fixes - a new Lasso tool. The app was launched back in April and received great reviews for its outstanding search experience that was built from the ground up to cater for the iPad.
According to a Google developer, a Google+ client for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad has been submitted to the iOS App Store and if no issues are found, the App should be approved rather quickly. Google+ is Google's new endeavor in social networking, which has captured the headlines in recent days.
