Resident Evil 4 For iPhone, iPad, And Mac Is Now Available For Pre-Order And Will Cost $60

Apple announced that the popular Resident Evil 4 game will come to the iPhone, iPad, and Mac when it unveiled the new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro earlier this month.

Now, Capcom has made the game available for preorder from the App Store ahead of time.

A firm release date hasn’t yet been given for the new game, but we do know that it will be available as a universal purchase which means that it will work on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac without having to buy the game three times.

We also know that the initial download will be free and act as a demo of sorts, with the full game unlocked via a $60 in-app purchase.

Six years have passed since the biological disaster in Raccoon City. Agent Leon S. Kennedy, one of the survivors of the incident, has been sent to rescue the president’s kidnapped daughter. He tracks her to a secluded European village, where there is something terribly wrong with the locals. And the curtain rises on this story of daring rescue and grueling horror where life and death, terror and catharsis intersect.

In terms of compatibility, an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max will be required while any M1 iPad or later will work just fine, too. Apple silicon Macs running macOS Ventura or later will also run the game, although it remains to be seen just how well they will do that.
