Apple’s latest mice sensation – the multi-touch capable Magic Mouse introduced iPhone-style touch capabilities in the world of mice for users running OS X. This amazing product of engineering which is a multi-touch descendant of the iPhone soon became the heartthrob of Mac users. Since Magic Mouse is officially supported to work on Macs only, PC users running Windows were left out in the dark since there is currently no multi-touch capable mouse available for PC market.

A source closed to MSMobiles has confirmed that HTC HD2 will be receiving an official free upgrade to Windows Mobile 7 once it is out in Q4 2010. This makes sense because HD2 is the first phone which meets all the hardware chassis requirements laid out by Microsoft for a phone which will be powered by Windows Mobile 7, including support for multi-touch through its massive 4.3’’ capacitive display.
Its only been a few hours since Google spilled the beans on their upcoming Chrome OS, and now we already have a fully working VMware image of Chrome OS ready for download. Google as expected, has announced its much awaited Operating system, Google Chrome OS. Google Chrome OS represents Google’s view point of what an OS should be like in this era. As was expected, Microsoft today on Day 2 of Professional Developers Conference (PDC09) has released Microsoft Office 2010 Beta to public via Microsoft Download Center. General public can now test and evaluate the latest version of Office 2010 to help make the product better before it hits RTM sometime next year. The Build number of Office 2010 Beta is 14.0.4536.1000 which is newer than the previously leaked build 14.0.4514.1009.
In the pre-release test Roms of Windows Mobile 6.5 for HTC HD2, pinch-to-zoom functionality was available across all apps by which one could finger pinch any application on the screen and it would zoom in. In the final release, however, this useful feature was confined to only a few selective apps on the device that had small elements on screen. Thanks to this tiny application called Zooomer for the HTC HD2, we can now enable pinch-to-zoom multi-touch capability in any program on this Windows Phone. All apps may not really be able to take all the advantage from it but atleast it gives us the choice to select the apps in which we need this functionality.
