The response that Apple has got for the new iPhone 4 has far outstretched their supply chain. Apple today has issued a statement in which they have stated that more than 600,000 iPhone 4s have been pre-ordered through Apple and its carrier partners yesterday. According to reps at AT&T, this is ten times as many orders as they took for the iPhone 3GS last year.
The official ultrasn0w unlock has been released by iPhone Dev Team for iPhone 3GS, with older bootrom running 04.26.08 baseband on iOS 4.0 (formerly iPhone OS 4). For those of you who preserved their baseband by jailbreaking iPhone 3GS on iOS 4 using PwnageTool can now unlock, provided that your phone is running the older 04.26.08 baseband.

The developers behind Infiniboard, Infinidock, ProSwitcher and the UI designer of Spirit untethered jailbreak tool for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch has just released the alpha version of ProSwitcher app for iPad. ProSwitcher for iPad enables switching between applications (multitasking) running in background in a beautiful Palm Pre style card view mode. It basically act as a graphical extension to the already popular app from Cydia called Backgrounder to present all opened apps in a tabbed view, similar to the view seen on Mobile Safari browser.
The long awaited Google Earth app for iPad has just gone live in the iTunes App Store. This is basically Google Earth 3.0 which comes as a universal binary to support both iPhone and iPad. The official description of the app is as follows.

Apparently, a new ad has popped up on some international sites (specifically Italian) which features the new “yet to be announced” Microsoft Xbox 360 Slim. The ads says that this new Xbox 360 includes built-in Wi-Fi, compatibility with newly announced “Kinect” for Xbox 360, and it sports 250GB of hard disk drive.
