The popular cross-platform IM app Nimbuzz is now available on the Windows Phone, for the surprisingly low cost of nothing. It's been in existence since the Windows Mobile days, and is available on a wide sleuth of platforms: Android, iOS, Symbian, Blackberry, Java, PC, Mac, and of course, Windows Phone. The app allows you to chat with other Nimbuzz users, as well as friends on Facebook, Gtalk, Yahoo Messenger, and WLM for free. Some form of Twitter integration is also baked into the app.
Three months after the phone's debut as the device to end the "smartphone beta test", Nokia has just sliced the price of the Lumia 900 in half on AT&T in the United States. Now, you can pick it up at the low cost of $49.99 when paired with a two year contract with the carrier. The announcement of this pricing change coincides with the announcement of a pink Lumia 900, which joins the existing white, black, and cyan color schemes that the device also comes in.

Japanese blog Macotakara reports the next-gen iPhone is now in production over in China, with the device expected to launch this fall. As has been the case with most of Macotakara's reports, this one cites "reliable Chinese sources", and if true, would seem to corroborate the notion that the sixth installment to the iPhone series will launch in September / October.

XBMC, the free, open source cross-platform media player extraordinaire, will soon be arriving at the Google Play Store, the company has confirmed in a blog post on its site. Although mobile iterations of software tend to be considerably watered-down, XBMC is said to be a fully-fledged, feature-rich port, and will be available for Android tablets, smartphones, or set-top boxes.

The title will release for both Android and iOS, both of which are expected to arrive next Friday, 20th July - a day after the movie hits the cinemas worldwide.
