128GB iPad 4 With Retina Display Officially Announced, Here Are The Details

Ben Reid·January 29, 2013
Apple has, by means of a press release, announced that its fourth-gen iPad will now offer up to 128GB of internal storage - double the previous maximum configuration of 64GB. Apple has sold in excess of 120 million iPads to date, and with Phil Schiller noting of the consumer's preference to "work, learn and play on their iPads rather than their old PCs,” it would certainly make sense for the fruit company to offer the kind of capacity reflecting the change in habits.

Unlock Achievements On Android As You Use Your Phone With This App

Aatif·January 29, 2013
One of the key reasons of doing anything in life is the sense of achievement that it brings, from education to work and pretty much anything else you do. Sure, money, fulfillment and career count, but the fact remains that if you feel you’ve accomplished something, you’re more likely to be happy than with anything else. Studies have shown that even in workplace, those employees are usually happier who get recognition of their work in addition to compensation, as opposed to those who continue to perform their duties without their superiors acknowledging their efforts. As Homosapiens, we are programmed genetically to pursue this sense of achievement, and this fact adheres to basic human psychology.

iOS 6 Now Running On Over 300 Million Devices Around The World, 60% Of Total

Ben Reid·January 29, 2013
The release of iOS may have been shrouded in controversy, but in terms of adoption rates, it has continually proven itself to be prolific. Early statistics showed that, despite the bad press, consumers were buying and upgrading their devices to iOS 6 at a rate of knots, and in its iOS 6.1 press release earlier today, Apple has revealed that nigh on 300 million iPhones, iPads and iPod touches are now running the latest firmware.

Windows 8 Overtakes Mountain Lion In Overall Desktop OS Market Share

Ben Reid·January 29, 2013
The news is perhaps about as predictable as when Call of Duty: Black Ops II swept past Halo 4 to take its usual position is market leader, but Windows 8 has - just three months after its initial release - surpassed Apple's OS X Mountain Lion in terms of market share. The Redmond company has seen a positive, if not overwhelming public response to its new operating system, and with many opting to upgrade online as opposed to purchasing a more expensive physical copy, the entire Windows process looks to be headed towards Apple's download-only direction.

How To Add Instagram-like Filters Feature To The Stock Camera And Photos App On iPhone

Paul Morris·January 28, 2013
Although we haven't seen a large number of impressive and innovative tweaks landing in the Cydia store for a while, something tells us that the jailbreak development scene is about to receive a new lease of life in the coming weeks and months. The PhotoFilter package that will be available from the BigBoss repository may not offer anything we haven't seen before in third-party apps, but it is definitely a worthwhile purchase for those who are into photography, filters, and love producing aesthetically pleasing images.

Paul Morris·January 28, 2013
Another day and yet another iOS device related report, this time focused on speculation surrounding Apple's intention to introduce another iPad model to their existing product line. There's been plenty of discussion over the last few weeks about when Apple will refresh their existing iPad models, that discussion is still ongoing, but in the meantime it appears that the Cupertino based company is planning on introducing a single new iPad model to the existing device range.

iOS 6 / 6.1 Jailbreak Untethered Device Compatibility And Expected Release Date

Paul Morris·January 28, 2013
The jailbreak community has to be commended for exercising an unprecedented level of patience while the relevant individuals and development teams have been working hard on finding the necessary components to release an iOS 6 untethered jailbreak. Over the last week we have witness the formation of the Evad3rs jailbreak team, and announcements that we can pretty much expect the jailbreak to drop almost instantly when Apple releases iOS 6.1 to the public. But today brings even more good news.
