New Jailbreak Tweaks For iOS 10: StatusPeek 2, WAAutoReply, NoMoreStories, Siliqua, More

For nearly every situation imaginable, there is likely an app on the iOS App Store. For everything else, there’s the jailbreak community. The only problem is, jailbreak tweaks and apps aren’t easy to shop for, which is where our weekly jailbreak tweak compilations come in.

Every week, we scour the Cydia store to bring you the best new or updated system tweaks for your jailbroken iPhone and iPad, and this week’s no different.

Gracing our list of seven this time around is a tweak to add more gestures and actions to AirPods, another that adds auto-reply to WhatsApp, one that disables the new Facebook Stories feature, and more.

We’ve got quite a few neat tweaks to go through, so let’s get right to it.

discreetVoiceMemos (Free, BigBoss)

As the name implies, this little tweak makes creating voice memos a tad more discreet by removing certain UI elements that give it away, such as the red status bar or the waveform on the lock screen.

GoAway (Free, BigBoss)

With GoAway installed, you can change the “iPhone is disabled” lock screen text to anything you want. You could take a leaf out of the tweak’s book and change it to “go away,” for instance.

StatusPeek 2 ($0.99, BigBoss)

The updated version of StatusPeek for iOS 10, like its predecessor, clones a feature of the Android UX that displays the status bar in place of the Notification Center handle when you swipe down from the top in a fullscreen app.

AirDrop Disabler (Free, BigBoss)

If you rarely find the need to share files over AirDrop and feel you could do without the clutter the AirDrop section adds to the Share Sheet, this tweak is your answer.

Siliqua (Free, BigBoss)

A must-have if you own a pair of Apple’s AirPods, Siliqua adds a bunch of double- and quadruple-tap actions for the wireless headphones, letting you map multiple actions to either trigger. For more on the tweak, check out: How To Add More Gestures And Actions To Apple AirPods.

WAAutoReply ($5, BigBoss)

This tweak adds an auto-reply option right within WhatsApp, allowing you to have a custom text sent in reply to any incoming messages with the flip of a toggle. For more info, read: Schedule WhatsApp Messages With Auto Reply On iPhone, Here’s How.

NoMoreStories (Free, BigBoss)

Not a fan of the new Facebook Stories feature? This tweak will remove Stories from the top of the Facebook app, reducing clutter in the process. You can read more about NoMoreStories here: Disable Or Turn Off Facebook Stories Feature On iPhone, Here’s How.
