Here’s iPhone SE 2020 Vs iPhone 8 battery life comparison that you may wanna know about before picking one of these up.
After months of rumors we now have the iPhone SE available for order. Those who were able to get their pre-orders in soon were able to get theirs already with more set to arrive next week. Now that some people have their own iPhone SE in their hands we’re starting to learn more and more about it. Including how its battery life holds up.
The iPhone SE is a similar phone to the iPhone 8 in appearance, but inside it’s closer to the iPhone 11 thanks to the inclusion of the Apple A13 Bionic processor. So how do the two iPhones compare when it comes to battery life?
That’s something that iApple Bytes wanted to find out. And find out they did after putting both phones through their paces using Geekbench.
In this video I will be comparing a side by side exhaustive Geekbench Battery drain test with
an iPhone 8 with 100% battery health against a new iPhone SE 2020. Same iOS version
loaded, same backup, same settings.
With similarly sized batteries it all really comes down to how well that A13 processor handles power management. And as we found with the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro, it really is very good at it.
The results can be seen in the full video, but the upshot of it all is that the iPhone SE comes out on top by some margin. It makes tons of sense and is just another reason why you should go iPhone SE over a used iPhone 8 if that’s a decision you’re faced with.
