iOS 17 OTA Update Download: How To Get It Early Right Now

Looking for iOS 17 OTA update download early before the scheduled time? Here’s how to get it right now.

As you may already know, Apple will release final version of iOS 17 to everyone sometime later today.

Usually when Apple does release such major annual updates, their servers get overloaded with tons of people trying to download the next major version of iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS and more on their iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV respectively.

To avoid getting stuck in this situation, do you know there’s a way to get the final build early on your device right now before Apple flips the switch for everyone?

The trick to do this is to grab the final build early using Developer Beta channel from within iOS itself.

Simply head over to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and select iOS 17 Developer Beta and then just wait for iOS 17 final build OTA to show up.

Once the OTA update shows up, tap on Download and Install to update your device on to it. Once the device is updated, head back to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and toggle it back to Off position.

Voila! That’s it. You are now running iOS 17 final version which carries the build iOS 17.0 (21A329). This is the same build Apple will make available to public later today.
