FolderEnhancer Tweak Enhances iOS 4.x Folders on iPhone and iPod touch [Jailbreak App]

Folders – that first came to iOS with version 4 – is a rather interesting way of handling apps on Springboard. Sure, other platforms (like Android, for instance) already had folders but once again, as with multitasking and copy-paste, Apple might have implemented the feature last but they also implemented it best.

Could the best get any better? Well yes, just because it is the best implementation doesn’t mean it’s perfect. There’s always room for improvement.

FolderEnhancer

With a new application called FolderEnhancer, you can now enhance iOS folders! FolderEnhancer enhances Folders. That’s what it does. It enhances folders by including the following enhancements.

Features:

  • Opens folders faster
  • Supports icon pages
  • Enables subfolders
  • Works with Iconoclasm (similar to Gridlock)
  • Extends MultiIconMover

You can see all the features in the video embedded below:

You will of course need to have a jailbroken iPhone or iPod touch to install it. Follow our step by step guide posted here to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with JailbreakMe if you haven’t already.

We will let you know as soon as FolderEnhancer is available on Cydia Store! Stay tuned for that!
