Download: macOS Big Sur 11.3.1, watchOS 7.4.1 Released With Security Improvements

Apple today released watchOS 7.4.1 and macOS Big Sur 11.3.1 to the public. Both updates are designed as security updates and should be downloaded to all devices right away.

In terms of the watchOS 7.4.1 update, Apple simply suggests that the update is recommended for all users.

This update provides important security updates and is recommended for all users.

Users can download the watchOS update via the Watch app on their iPhone.

It’s a similar story on the Mac, with Apple saying that “macOS Big Sur 11.3.1 provides important security updates and is recommended for all users.” Again, we’d suggest installing the update sooner rather than later and you can do that via the System Preferences on your Mac.

While neither of these software updates include any fancy new features they are just as important. Apple releases security updates from time to time and they are always well worth installing for your own peace of mind.

The new updates come soon after Apple released its last big round of updates, including iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5 that brought support for AirTags and App Tracking Transparency.
