Download: iOS 17.4 Final IPSW Links, OTA Update Released

After weeks of beta testing, Apple has today released for download iOS 17.4 final IPSW links and OTA update for the iPhone and iPadOS 17.4 final for the iPad.

Apple’s latest software update brings with it a number of new features, especially if you’re in the European Union.

Globally, however, the Apple podcasts app includes support for transcripts while there are now a ton of new emojis with mushroom, phoenix, lime, broken chain, and shaking heads emojis all available. 18 people and body emoji have also been added.

For those in the EU, the iOS 17.4 update adds support for third-party app stores for the first time, while third-party payment rules have also been changed in this release. There is also support for third-party web browser engines for the first time while mobile wallet apps can also access the iPhone’s NFC chip — allowing them to make contactless payments in the same way as Apple Pay.

Those who want to install the update on their iPhone can do so via the usual software update mechanism in the Settings app, while those who want to download the IPSW files and install them manually can do that using the links below.
